“The Paradox of Choice”

As discussed in this YouTube video - we will rank and review this book, then leave three tips we’ve learned at the bottom.

First, we rank the book based on three factors:

  1. Enjoyability

  2. Applicability

  3. Literary Value

Score:

Enjoyability (4*)

This book is a pretty light read. The message is straight-forward and simple. We are overburdened by choice.

Applicability (5*)

It’s incredible how quick your life can change. I appreciate Barry Schwartz for the value he’s brought to my life. Making a decision is much easier for me now - mostly because most of them aren’t important.

Know what’s worth thinking about. This book is as applicable as it gets.

Literary Value (1*)

You won’t read this book for any literary gain.

Three Lessons from the Book:

  1. Know when good enough is enough

  2. We have too many options

  3. What’s really worth thinking about?
